Exercising Service, One Step at a Time.
The 2025 New York State Informational Workshop
Hosted by NENY Area 48
Welcome to the 2025 New York State Informational Workshop; a three-day immersion into nostalgia and networking as we bring the spirit of summer camp into an A.A. environment. Where we share our Area Committee work with our counterparts across the state.
Hosted at a tranquil, lakeside retreat center, this workshop merges discovery from Committee Chairs, Area Chairs, and Delegates from Areas 47, 48, 49, and 50 who come together for a weekend of panels, presentations, meetings and fellowship.
The workshop kicks off as attendees arrive and settle into comfortable cabins nestled among whispering pines. Following dinner, everyone assembles for welcoming remarks followed by the evening program, while reconnecting with old friends and meeting new faces. S’mores at the campfire are a fitting close to the day.
Our Saturday morning sessions begin with an Early Bird A.A. Meeting followed by a hearty breakfast to launch us into invigorating workshops in our summer camp environment, drawing on the serene backdrop of nature.

After a morning of learning, and shared experiences, attendees are invited to enjoy a great lunch, followed by afternoon sessions leading to our evening dinner and Saturday Night Speaker.
Saturday evening transforms into learning and fellowship- followed perhaps, by a camp side fire and fun.

The final day commences with an Early Bird A.A. Meeting promoting mindfulness and reflection followed by breakfast, a workshop, and a Delegates panel. Finally, we’ll come to closing remarks. As we prepare to part ways, we take with us not just practical service insights, but a revitalized spirit reminiscent of those magical summer days at camp.
